Scottish Certificate Personal License Holder

This fully regulated and accredited training is for anyone wishing to apply for a Personal License in Scotland, in order to satisfy the requirements of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 applicants must provide proof they have obtained an accredited Scottish Certificate for Personal License Holders. The course covers the roles & responsibilities of Licensing Boards and LSOs, the licensing objectives, Licensing hours, responsibilities of the Personal License holder, control orders, drunkenness and disorderly behaviour. The course includes 1-day expert tuition, providing knowledge checks throughout the course and facilitating the multiple-choice examination at the end of the course.

Scottish Certificate Personal License Holder (Refresher)

The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 requires all personal licence holders to undertake refresher training within 5 years of the issue of their licence. All personal licence holders must attend a 1/2-day update course, sit and pass an exam before the 5-year anniversary of the issue of the licence. They must also submit evidence that the training has been passed (The original certificate) to the relevant licensing board within 3 months of the 5-year anniversary. On successful completion this fully regulated and accredited course will provide the evidence of learning to re-apply for a Personal Licence.

REHIS - Elementary Food Hygiene

The REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is a practical course designed to give individuals a basic knowledge and understanding of the causes of food poisoning, measures for prevention and the legal aspects of food hygiene in Scotland. The REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene course is recognised by your local environmental health officer and is suitable for any food handler working in restaurants, hotels, bars, nurseries, residential homes and those involved in day care.

INTRODUCTION TO FOOD HYGIENE

The REHIS Introduction to Food Hygiene Course is designed principally for new food handlers before being starting work in a food environment for the first time. The course aims to raise awareness of key food hygiene issues that may arise in the food industry. The course will also meet the requirements for induction training for other staff who are not food handlers, for example, nurses, porters, care assistants and kitchen support staff to provide them with an awareness of their responsibilities in relation to food safety.
